The Smithy, is a family run traditional tearoom and craft shop. Situated in a lovely garden setting with a charming riverside location, in New Galloway. The gift shop has a good selection of gift ideas many from local crafts people. The Smithy specialises in home cooked food using fresh local produce. Our home baking includes a variety of home made cakes, tray bakes, fruit and cheese scones and homemade soups with a difference.

Eric is locally known as 'The Dalry Dog Whisperer' and has trained dogs & cats for TV & film including; Coronation Street, Cracker, Prime Suspect and Sherlock Holmes to name just a few
